Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • Corresponding author signed on the copyright transfer agreement and attached it upon submission to transfer to the IDEC any copyright they hold for the paper.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Short biographies are required for ALL authors. As per the required templates, biographies of all authors should be added to the article below the references.

Author Guidelines

Submission

(1) JICAS is published every quarter, on the first day of January, April, July, and October.

(2) All manuscripts must be submitted via online submission system (http://jicas.idec.or.kr/).

(3) Only manuscripts written in accordance with editorial style shall be accepted. If the manuscript is rejected by not following the editorial style, it would be considered as not submitted.

(4) The date of submission shall be the date uploading the manuscript on online submission system.

(5) Authors must submit “JICAS Copyright Transfer Agreement” with the manuscript.

(6) All copyright use of the manuscript belongs to IC Design Education Center (hereafter referred to as IDEC).   It is possible to refer to whole or part of the manuscript without approval of IDEC, but must clarify the source.

(7) JICAS does not charge any fee for publication.

Content

(1) Manuscripts should be based on the result of IDEC Multi Project Wafer(MPW) program.

(2) The main content of manuscripts must be know-how of chip implementation on design process, simulation methods and so on, rather than a comparison with previous research results or new facts, ideas, and achievements.

Revision

The Editorial Committee can require revision of the manuscript to the authors according to the evaluation results.

Copyright Policies

(1) JICAS editorial office is responsible for the administration of all JICAS copyright matters under these policies.

(2) Licenses and permission to use IDEC copyrighted material for commercial may be granted under terms approved by JICAS editorial office.

(3) Prior to publication, all authors must transfer to theIDEC in writing any copyright they hold for the paper.

(4) In return for the transfer of authors' rights, IDEC shall grant authors permission to make copies and otherwise reuse the material under terms approved by JICAS editorial office.

(5) After IDEC accepts a manuscript for publication and the copyright has been tranferred, only formally reported changes or corrections of manuscripts shall be subject to be approved.
